Promised Land Messianic Fellowship is a community of people, born into different cultures and faiths, united in the belief that Yeshua(Jesus) is the Messiah(Christ). The one true God sent himself as fully man and fully God to reconcile people to Himself. We choose the Hebrew words for the familiar names of Jesus (Yeshua) and Christ (Messiah) in acknowledgement of the Hebrew roots of our faith as detailed in the TaNaKh (the Torah, Prophets and Writings, together commonly referred to as the Old Testament) and the New Testament.
We choose to study history and obey commandments as given by God in the Bible, beginning with Genesis and ending with Revelation. This includes observing the biblical calendar, the feasts of יהוה(Yahweh or Jehovah spelled with the hebrew letters Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey) enumerated in Scripture and instructions concerning life style.
We give glory to God that our salvation is accomplished through Yeshua's(Jesus') completed work on the cross. We thank Him for the indwelling of His Holy Spirit which empowers us to do His will. We know from Scripture that God promised to write His teaching and instruction on our hearts. It is the intent of our hearts to be obedient to the teachings of Scripture.
If you are interested in exploring the Hebrew roots of the faith practiced by the followers of Yeshua(Jesus) the Messiah(Christ), please join us on Saturday afternoons at 3:00pm.
